A Zynga executive sees NFT integration with traditional gaming as a "huge opportunity."

Matt Wolf got his start in the field of NFTs four years ago as an adviser for Epics Digital Collectables, a gaming firm.

Wolf got "fascinated by the ownership of in-game assets" while working at one of the first NFT (non-fungible token) trading card sites.

Wolf, who began investing in cryptocurrencies in 2014, said blockchain gaming was "simple to understand the potential." "If you're in the game industry and aren't really considering blockchain integration, you could be missing out on a major opportunity," he told Blockworks. According to data provider DappRadar, the industry generated more than $4 billion in 2021.
